Pensoft to attend iBOL 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand
The 10th International Barcode of Life Conference (iBOL 2026) will bring together researchers from around the world in Bangkok, Thailand, to share the latest advances in DNA barcoding and metabarcoding for species identification.
The conference will be held 2-6 November at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, a venue in the heart of the city with direct access to the BTS Skytrain at Siam Station and easy connections to the airport rail and metro systems.
iBOL 2026 is organised by Chulalongkorn University and the International Barcode of Life consortium, and is supported in part by funding from the Government of Canada's New Frontiers in Research Fund (NFRF).
The conference gives delegates the opportunity to exchange knowledge on building an Earth observation system that discovers species, reveals their interactions and establishes biodiversity baselines, including research into symbiomes – the distinct fungal, plant and animal species associated with host organisms.

Of particular focus will be Pensoft’s following journals: Metabarcoding and Metagenomics, Biodiversity Data Journal and Research Ideas and Outcomes (RIO) Journal.
