Pensoft to attend the 4th BioSyst EU meeting in Uppsala, Sweden
Between 17-19 August 2026, Pensoft will exhibit at the 4th BioSyst EU meeting, taking place in Uppsala, Sweden. The conference is organized by the Swedish Systematics Association.
The three-day conference will celebrate European systematics and biodiversity research at its very origin: Uppsala is where Carl Linnaeus, the father of modern taxonomy, received his higher education and developed the foundations of modern taxonomy. An excursion directly after the conference rounds off the programme of keynotes and symposia.
BioSyst EU represents European scientists working on topics in systematic biology. It considers itself a collaborative counterpart to the Consortium of European Taxonomic Facilities (CETAF), where European natural history institutions have joined forces; in BioSyst EU, individual scientists are represented through their national or regional societies.
