2026 European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly
The European Geosciences Union (EGU) has announced that final preparations are underway for the EGU General Assembly 2026 (EGU26), scheduled for May 3-8 at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV) and via its dedicated virtual platform.
As the primary forum for Earth, planetary, and space science research in Europe, EGU26 will bring together over 19,000 researchers, academics, and journalists. This year’s meeting is of particular significance, marking the 25th anniversary of the General Assembly’s residency in Vienna.
